Community Guidelines

TRUECIAL COMMUNITY GUIDELINES Effective date: October 8, 2026 Last updated: October 11, 2026 Truecial is a social platform built around authentic photo and video sharing and respectful interaction between people. These Community Guidelines ("Guidelines") explain what content and behavior are permitted or prohibited on Truecial. They apply to all users and relevant activity on the Service, including: - Profiles, usernames, and biographies; - Posts, photographs, videos, and Stories; - Comments and replies; - Private messages and attachments; - Likes, follows, and Star Connections; - One Shot publications and Duo Reels; - Reports and other user interactions. Users are responsible for their own content and conduct to the extent provided by applicable law. Truecial provides reporting, blocking, and moderation mechanisms intended to address violations. These mechanisms do not constitute a guarantee that every prohibited item of content or interaction will be prevented or immediately detected. These Guidelines should be read together with the Truecial Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Child Safety Standards. 1. Respect Other People Truecial does not permit harassment, bullying, stalking, intimidation, threats, or targeted abuse. Users must not: - Repeatedly insult, humiliate, or threaten another person; - Encourage others to harass or intimidate someone; - Engage in stalking or persistent unwanted contact; - Publish content primarily intended to humiliate, threaten, or intimidate another person; - Organize targeted harassment or abusive campaigns; - Use multiple accounts to continue harassment or circumvent blocking restrictions. Disagreement, criticism, satire, and discussion are generally permitted, provided they do not cross into prohibited harassment, threats, or other abusive behavior. Moderation decisions may take context, severity, repetition, and potential harm into account. 2. Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Truecial strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Users must not create, upload, request, send, distribute, promote, facilitate, or attempt to obtain: - Child sexual abuse material (CSAM); - Sexual images or videos involving minors; - Sexualized depictions of minors, including prohibited digitally manipulated or AI-generated material; - Content facilitating grooming of minors for sexual purposes; - Requests for intimate images, videos, or sexual activity from minors; - Content involving sexual coercion, threats, blackmail, or sextortion of minors; - Content facilitating child trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation; - Attempts to arrange unlawful sexual contact with minors; - Instructions or assistance intended to facilitate child sexual abuse or exploitation. These prohibitions apply to public content, private messages, attachments, profiles, and other Service features. Claiming that prohibited material is fictional, AI-generated, consensual, private, or intended as a joke does not make otherwise prohibited content permissible. Legitimate reporting, prevention, education, and discussion concerning child protection are not automatically prohibited, provided the material does not itself contain or facilitate prohibited exploitation. When Truecial obtains information concerning suspected violations, it may review the available circumstances and take appropriate action consistent with applicable law and its Child Safety Standards. Where CSAM is identified, appropriate action includes removing or restricting access to the material and fulfilling applicable legal reporting obligations. Prohibited content includes: - Pornographic or explicitly sexual photographs and videos; - Content primarily intended to display explicit sexual activity or sexually arouse viewers; - Non-consensual intimate images, including manipulated or AI-generated intimate depictions of identifiable people; - Threats to publish intimate material; - Sexual violence or exploitation; - Sexual solicitation involving minors; - Content promoting unlawful sexual services or sexual exploitation; - Other sexual material prohibited by applicable law or platform safety rules. Non-explicit educational, medical, journalistic, artistic, or documentary discussion concerning sexuality is not automatically prohibited. Such content may be evaluated according to its context, presentation, age-appropriateness, potential harm, and applicable legal or platform requirements. Truecial may restrict or remove sexualized content where reasonably necessary to protect users, including minors, or to comply with applicable requirements. 4. Violence, Threats, and Graphic Content Users must not use Truecial to threaten, encourage, organize, or glorify serious violence. Prohibited content includes: - Credible threats to kill or seriously injure another person; - Instructions intended to facilitate violent attacks; - Encouragement of violent criminal activity; - Graphic violence primarily intended to shock, terrorize, or glorify serious harm; - Content encouraging others to commit violent acts; - Threats involving weapons or other dangerous conduct. News reporting, documentary material, educational discussion, or condemnation of violence may be permitted where the context is clear and the content does not encourage unlawful harm. Truecial may take appropriate action where credible safety risks are identified. 5. Terrorism and Violent Extremism Truecial prohibits content that promotes, recruits for, materially supports, or facilitates terrorist organizations or violent extremist activity. Prohibited conduct includes recruitment, operational assistance, direct incitement, and glorification intended to encourage serious violence. Journalistic, historical, educational, analytical, or condemnatory discussion may be permitted when it does not promote or facilitate prohibited activity. 6. Hate and Dehumanizing Content Users must not promote hatred, violence, targeted harassment, or dehumanization based on protected characteristics, including: - Race or ethnicity; - Nationality; - Religion; - Sex or gender; - Sexual orientation; - Disability; - Other characteristics protected by applicable law. Criticism of ideas, policies, institutions, religions, political positions, or public conduct is not automatically prohibited. The context, language, purpose, and potential impact of the content may be considered when determining whether a violation occurred. 7. Self-Harm, Suicide, and Dangerous Behavior Truecial prohibits content that encourages, instructs, pressures, or assists others to engage in suicide, serious self-harm, or dangerous conduct. This includes material that promotes hazardous challenges or behavior likely to cause serious physical harm. Good-faith discussion of personal experiences, recovery, prevention, medical issues, or seeking assistance is not automatically prohibited. Where an immediate threat to a person's safety is apparent, users should contact appropriate emergency services. Truecial's reporting tools are not a substitute for emergency assistance. 8. Privacy and Personal Information Users must respect the privacy and personal information of others. Users must not unlawfully publish, disclose, threaten to disclose, or misuse another person's private or sensitive information. This may include: - Private home addresses; - Non-public phone numbers; - Passwords and authentication credentials; - Financial account information; - Identity documents; - Private medical information; - Intimate images; - Confidential communications; - Information whose disclosure creates a serious privacy or safety risk. Users must not use personal information to facilitate harassment, stalking, intimidation, fraud, or exploitation. Particular care must be taken when publishing content involving minors. Users are responsible for obtaining permissions or other lawful grounds where required to publish another person's image or personal information. A person's appearance in a public place does not automatically authorize every possible use or disclosure of their personal information. Truecial may restrict access to content or take other appropriate action in response to relevant privacy complaints. Legal rights concerning personal data are addressed separately in the Privacy Policy and applicable law. 9. Impersonation, Deception, and Synthetic Identities Users must not impersonate another person or organization for fraudulent, abusive, or materially misleading purposes. Prohibited behavior includes: - Creating deceptive accounts using another person's identity; - Using another person's image or identifying information to impersonate them; - Using AI-generated faces or synthetic identities to deceive others about the existence or identity of a real person; - Using manipulated images, video, or audio to falsely attribute harmful actions or statements to another person; - Misrepresenting account ownership for scams, harassment, or other harmful purposes. Clearly identified parody, commentary, or fan accounts may be permitted where they do not violate other rules. Truecial's publishing concept is based on camera-created content. Users must not intentionally misrepresent prerecorded, externally edited, or AI-generated material as an original capture produced through Truecial's intended camera workflow. These rules do not mean that Truecial independently verifies the identity of every user or guarantees the authenticity of all published content. 10. Fraud, Scams, and Phishing Truecial must not be used for fraud, deception intended to obtain money or property, identity theft, or other unlawful financial activity. Prohibited conduct includes: - Phishing; - Investment and cryptocurrency scams; - Fake giveaways or fraudulent sales; - Deceptive payment requests; - Account theft; - Impersonation for financial gain; - Fraudulent fundraising; - Malicious links; - Pyramid or similar unlawful schemes. Users should exercise caution when interacting with people offering financial products, investment opportunities, or transactions. Truecial does not independently endorse or guarantee user offers, products, claims, or transactions. 11. Spam, Artificial Manipulation, and Publishing Integrity Users must not misuse Truecial's interaction, recommendation, or publishing systems. Prohibited conduct includes: - Repetitive unsolicited messages; - Spam or mass posting intended primarily to manipulate visibility; - Unauthorized automated likes, follows, Stars, or other interactions; - Purchasing or selling artificial engagement; - Coordinated manipulation of recommendations or metrics; - Operating unauthorized bots or automated accounts; - Attempting to circumvent publication limits, account restrictions, or security controls. Users must not intentionally bypass Truecial's camera-based publishing mechanisms, including by: - Substituting prerecorded or externally edited media for a genuine in-app camera capture; - Using modified applications or unauthorized technical methods to bypass integrity controls; - Manipulating capture timestamps or technical information to misrepresent publication circumstances; - Fraudulently manipulating One Shot counters, indicators, deletion opportunities, or publishing records. The One Shot badge is an in-service publishing indicator, not an independent certification that a depicted event is genuine. The ordinary rules governing One Shot deletion opportunities and badges are described in the Terms of Use. Attempts to manipulate those rules may result in moderation or account restrictions. 12. Illegal Goods and Activities Users must not use Truecial to organize, promote, or facilitate unlawful conduct. Depending on applicable law, this may include unlawful transactions involving: - Illegal drugs; - Prohibited weapons; - Stolen property; - Human trafficking; - Fraudulent goods or services; - Other unlawful activities. News reporting, education, advocacy, historical discussion, and lawful debate about regulated or illegal activities are not automatically prohibited, provided they do not facilitate unlawful conduct. 13. Intellectual Property Users must only publish or share material they created, own, are authorized to use, or are otherwise legally entitled to use. Users must not knowingly infringe another person's: - Copyright; - Trademarks; - Rights to their image or likeness; - Other applicable intellectual-property rights. Users retain ownership of their own content, subject to the limited license granted to Truecial under the Terms of Use. Rights holders may submit complaints to: support@truecial.app Truecial may request information reasonably necessary to assess a complaint and may remove or restrict relevant content where appropriate or legally required. Submitting a complaint does not automatically establish an infringement. 14. Malware and Security Abuse Users must not: - Distribute malware or malicious code; - Send harmful files or links; - Attempt to steal passwords or authentication credentials; - Gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data; - Exploit vulnerabilities to harm users or the Service; - Deliberately disrupt or overload Truecial infrastructure; - Bypass security or age-related restrictions; - Use unauthorized automation to interfere with Service operation. Security research must not harm users, interfere with the Service, or violate applicable law. 15. Minor Safety and Adult–Minor Interaction Truecial is intended for users aged 13 and older. Certain protective measures operate according to two age groups determined using the date of birth provided at registration: - Users aged 13–17; - Users aged 18 and older. Users must provide accurate registration information and must not intentionally circumvent age-related safety restrictions. 15.1. Recommendations and Profiles Under the current Truecial model: - Users under 18 may receive recommended content from different age groups; - Accounts belonging to users under 18 are not included in automated account recommendations presented to adults; - Public profiles of minors may still be found through search or opened directly; - Adults may follow minors and like their public content. These possibilities do not permit grooming, harassment, exploitation, or other unsafe behavior. 15.2. Private Messaging To reduce unwanted contact initiated by adults: - Adults cannot initiate private conversations with minors; - Minors may independently initiate conversations with adults; - An adult may reply only after the minor has initiated the relevant conversation; - Other applicable safety and blocking restrictions remain in effect. 15.3. Online Status Protection Adults cannot see whether a user under 18 is online. This includes visits to a minor's public profile. The measure is intended to reduce the exposure of minors' online activity to adult users. 15.4. Star Connections Star Connections are a private social interaction feature through which users may express an interest in communication. They are intended as a non-public social signal, distinct from an ordinary public like or follow, and are not designed as a romantic matchmaking or dating service. Mutual Star Connections may be established only within the permitted age groups. A mutual Star Connection between an adult and a minor cannot be established. If a user sends a Star across the age-group boundary: - It is not delivered to the intended recipient; - It does not appear in the recipient's incoming Stars; - It does not generate notifications or push notifications for the recipient; - It does not increase the recipient's visible Star counters; - It cannot create a mutual Star Connection; - It does not automatically become an active connection when a user's age group changes. 15.5. Additional Age-Privacy Protection If an adult visits a minor's profile and presses the Star button, Truecial may display the same sending animation used for an ordinary Star. The action may also remain visible to the sender as an outgoing Star. However, the minor does not receive that Star and does not see it in their account, notifications, or activity counters. This behavior is intentionally designed as an additional child-safety measure. Its purpose is to prevent differences in the Star-sending response from revealing whether a recipient belongs to the under-18 age group. The same non-delivery restrictions apply when a Star is attempted in the opposite direction across age groups. These safeguards limit the disclosure of age information through the Star Connection feature, but do not guarantee that age information cannot be discovered through unrelated sources. 15.6. Age Transitions and Blocking If two minors have an existing mutual Star Connection and one reaches the age of 18 before the other, their Stars and mutual connection are hidden between them until both users are adults. When a user blocks another user, existing Stars and mutual Star Connections between the affected accounts are terminated. These age-related measures supplement the general safety rules of Truecial. Attempts to evade age-based protections, harass minors, or exploit available interaction features are prohibited. 16. Private Messages These Community Guidelines also apply to private messages. Private messaging must not be used for: - Threats, harassment, or stalking; - Grooming or sexual exploitation; - Scams or phishing; - Distributing malware; - Sharing prohibited sexual content; - Repeated unwanted contact; - Other unlawful or abusive conduct. The private nature of a conversation does not make otherwise prohibited behavior acceptable. Where a private communication is reported, Truecial may review reported content and relevant information as reasonably necessary and legally permitted. These Guidelines do not establish an undertaking to continuously read or pre-screen every private conversation. The age-related messaging rules in Section 15 remain applicable. 17. Reporting Violations Users may report suspected violations through the reporting functionality available within Truecial. Depending on the supported feature, reports may concern: - Posts; - Stories; - Comments; - Profiles and accounts; - Private messages; - Other supported content or interactions. Users should submit reports in good faith and, where practical, identify the relevant account, content, or conduct. A report does not automatically establish that a violation occurred. Knowingly submitting false reports to harass, intimidate, or retaliate against another user may itself violate these Guidelines. For serious child-safety concerns: safety@truecial.app For general support: support@truecial.app For personal-data inquiries: privacy@truecial.app Where applicable law establishes specific notice, complaint, or reporting procedures, those requirements apply. 18. Blocking Truecial provides blocking functionality to help users limit unwanted interactions. Users may block others where appropriate to prevent further contact. Attempting to evade a block through additional accounts or other methods in order to continue harassment is prohibited. Blocking also terminates existing Stars and mutual Star Connections between the relevant accounts. Blocking tools are additional protective measures and do not guarantee that blocked individuals cannot encounter publicly available information outside the Service. 19. Moderation and Enforcement Truecial may assess reports, available evidence, and otherwise identified violations to enforce these Guidelines, protect users, maintain Service integrity, and comply with applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, measures may include: - Dismissing an unsupported report; - Taking no action where a violation is not established; - Restricting content visibility; - Hiding or removing content; - Restricting specific features; - Issuing warnings; - Temporarily suspending accounts; - Permanently terminating account access; - Preserving relevant information where legally justified; - Reporting or cooperating with competent authorities where legally required or permitted. Decisions may depend on severity, context, available information, potential harm, repeated violations, and applicable legal obligations. Serious violations may result in immediate action without prior warning where appropriate. Truecial may use technical safeguards, reporting mechanisms, moderation tools, and human review as appropriate. The existence of these mechanisms does not mean that Truecial undertakes to monitor every user, inspect every message, or review all content before publication. Truecial does not guarantee that every violation will be detected or prevented. Reports and identified violations are handled in accordance with applicable law, platform requirements, and relevant Truecial policies. 20. Repeated Violations Repeated or serious violations may result in increasingly restrictive measures. A pattern of abusive or prohibited conduct may justify permanent account termination, even when an individual incident might otherwise have resulted in a less severe measure. Attempts to evade restrictions or repeat misconduct through additional accounts may also be considered. 21. Appeals and Questions Users who believe a moderation decision was incorrect may contact: support@truecial.app Truecial may request information reasonably necessary to identify the relevant account, content, or decision and review the circumstances. Submitting an appeal does not automatically reverse a moderation decision. Where applicable law requires particular notice, explanation, internal complaint-handling, or appeal procedures, those requirements apply. 22. Changes to These Guidelines Truecial may update these Guidelines to: - Address new safety risks; - Reflect changes to Service functionality; - Improve moderation and abuse-prevention measures; - Clarify user responsibilities; - Comply with applicable law; - Meet App Store or Google Play requirements. The effective date and last-updated date are displayed at the beginning of this document. Material changes may be communicated through the Service, website, or another appropriate method where required by applicable law. 23.
