Child Safety Standards

TRUECIAL CHILD SAFETY STANDARDS Effective date: October 8, 2026 Last updated: October 11, 2026 Truecial aims to maintain a safer environment for its users, including minors, and takes reasonable and proportionate measures to address child sexual abuse, exploitation, grooming, coercion, trafficking, and other serious child-safety violations. These Child Safety Standards establish rules of user conduct, available safety measures, reporting channels, and possible enforcement actions. Truecial is a user-generated content and social interaction platform. Users create their own content, communications, and interactions. The existence of safety rules and technical restrictions does not mean that Truecial continuously monitors every publication, private communication, or interaction, or guarantees the prevention of every violation. These Standards apply together with the Truecial Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, and Privacy Policy. 1. Prohibition of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Truecial strictly prohibits all forms of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Users must not create, upload, request, send, distribute, promote, or facilitate content or conduct involving: Child sexual abuse material (CSAM); Sexual images or videos involving minors; Sexualization of minors; Grooming minors for sexual purposes; Requests for intimate images, videos, or sexual activity from minors; Sexual coercion, threats, or blackmail; Child trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation; Attempts to arrange unlawful sexual contact; Assistance intended to facilitate child sexual abuse or exploitation. These prohibitions apply to posts, Stories, profiles, comments, private messages, attachments, and other Truecial features. 2. Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) Uploading, transmitting, requesting, distributing, or exchanging CSAM is strictly prohibited. This prohibition applies to both public and private communications. Upon receiving specific information concerning a suspected violation, Truecial may review the circumstances using available lawful means. When Truecial establishes that CSAM has been made available through the Service, it takes appropriate action in accordance with applicable law and app distribution platform requirements. Such action includes removing the material or restricting access to it and, depending on the circumstances, account restrictions and legally required reports to competent authorities. Relevant information is processed, preserved, or disclosed only where an appropriate legal basis exists. 3. Grooming and Sexual Exploitation of Minors Truecial prohibits using the Service to contact minors for sexual abuse, exploitation, or coercion. Prohibited conduct includes: Manipulating minors into sexually exploitative conversations; Requesting intimate photographs or videos; Pressuring minors to provide sexual content or engage in sexual activity; Offering money, gifts, or benefits in exchange for sexual material; Threats, blackmail, and coercion; Attempts to arrange unlawful sexual contact; Other conduct intended to sexually exploit minors. The availability of messaging or other cross-age interactions does not make otherwise prohibited conduct acceptable. 4. Age-Related Safety Measures Truecial is intended for users aged 13 and older. Certain safety features operate according to age groups determined using the date of birth provided by users during registration: Users under 18; Users aged 18 and older. Users must provide accurate registration information and must not intentionally circumvent age-related restrictions. 4.1. Recommendations and Profiles Truecial applies the following age-related interaction rules: Users under 18 may receive recommendations containing content from different age groups. Accounts belonging to users under 18 are not included in automated recommendations shown to adult users. A minor's public profile may be found through search or opened through a direct link. Adults may follow minors and like their published content. These interactions do not permit harassment, exploitation, threats, solicitation, or other prohibited conduct. 4.2. Private Messaging Restrictions To reduce unwanted adult-initiated contact with minors: Adults cannot initiate private conversations with users under 18. Minors may independently initiate conversations with adults. Adults may reply only after the minor has initiated the relevant conversation. Existing conversations remain subject to all safety rules and blocking restrictions. 4.3. Online Status Protection Truecial restricts adult access to information about minors' online activity. Adults cannot see whether a user under 18 is online, including when visiting that user's profile. This measure is intended to reduce the ability to track minors' presence and activity on the Service. 4.4. Star Connections Star Connections are a private form of social interaction through which users may express an interest in communicating with another person. Unlike a regular like or follow, a Star is a non-public signal directed to a specific user. When two users within the same permitted age group send Stars to one another, a mutual Star Connection is established. The feature is intended for social interaction and expressing an interest in communication, not for arranging romantic dates or matchmaking. The following restrictions apply: Mutual Star Connections may exist between users under 18 or between users aged 18 and older. Mutual Star Connections cannot be established between an adult and a minor. Stars sent across these age groups are not delivered to their recipients. Such Stars do not appear in the recipient's incoming Star lists, notifications, push notifications, or activity counters. Cross-age Stars do not create mutual connections and do not become active automatically when a user's age group changes. Additional Age-Privacy Protection If an adult visits a minor's profile and taps the Star button, the interface may display the usual Star-sending animation. From the sender's perspective, the action appears as a normal outgoing Star and may remain visible in the sender's outgoing Star list. However, the minor does not receive the Star and does not see any related notification or activity-counter change. This behavior is intentionally designed as a child-safety and age-privacy measure. Its purpose is to prevent the response of the Star Connection feature from being used by adults to determine whether a recipient belongs to the under-18 age group. The same non-delivery restrictions apply when a Star is attempted in the opposite direction across age groups. If two minors have an existing mutual Star Connection and one reaches the age of 18 before the other, their Stars and mutual connection are temporarily hidden until both users are adults. Blocking a user terminates existing Stars and mutual Star Connections between the affected accounts. These restrictions supplement, rather than replace, other safety measures and rules of the Service. 5. Parental Controls and Additional Age Requirements Truecial does not currently provide a separate parental-control system or a mechanism for obtaining and verifying parental consent. Where applicable laws impose additional requirements concerning minors' access to online services, Truecial may restrict access to the Service or specific features to comply with those requirements. The stated minimum registration age does not override mandatory legal requirements in applicable jurisdictions. 6. Reporting Child Safety Concerns Users may report suspected violations through the reporting features provided within Truecial. Child-safety concerns may also be submitted to: safety@truecial.app Reports may concern suspected: Child sexual abuse material; Grooming; Sexual solicitation of minors; Threats or blackmail; Coercion; Sexual exploitation; Child trafficking; Unsafe adult-minor contact; Other circumstances presenting a serious risk to a child. Users are encouraged to provide sufficient information to identify the reported issue, such as a link to a post, profile, or relevant conversation. Truecial assesses received reports according to their content, the apparent severity of the issue, available information, and applicable legal requirements. Submitting a report does not automatically establish that a violation has occurred. 7. Immediate Danger If a child faces immediate danger to life, health, or safety, users should contact appropriate emergency services, law-enforcement authorities, or child-protection organizations. Truecial's reporting channels are not a substitute for emergency services. Truecial is not a law-enforcement agency or emergency response service. 8. Responding to Violations When Truecial receives information concerning a potential violation, it assesses the circumstances and takes action appropriate to the situation and applicable requirements. Depending on the findings, measures may include: Restricting content visibility; Removing prohibited content; Restricting account features; Temporarily suspending accounts; Terminating account access; Preserving necessary information where a legal basis exists; Reporting matters to competent authorities where required by law; Taking other necessary and proportionate measures. Serious violations may result in enforcement without prior warning. The selected measures depend on the nature of the violation, available evidence, potential harm, repeated misconduct, and applicable law. Truecial does not guarantee identical outcomes for every report because individual circumstances may differ. 9. Private Messages These Child Safety Standards also apply to private messages. Private communication does not permit threats, sexual exploitation, harassment, or other prohibited conduct. When a user reports a violation involving private communications, Truecial may process the reported message and reasonably necessary related information where a lawful basis exists, for purposes including: Reviewing the report; Protecting users; Identifying violations; Enforcing platform rules; Complying with legal obligations. These Standards do not establish an obligation to review every private conversation in advance. Further information about personal data processing is provided in the Truecial Privacy Policy. 10. Preservation of Information and Reporting Where a lawful basis exists, Truecial may preserve information related to suspected child-safety violations for purposes including: Reviewing reports; Meeting legal obligations; Protecting legal rights and interests; Preventing repeated abuse; Cooperating with competent authorities. The categories of information, retention periods, and disclosure procedures are determined according to applicable law, relevant legal bases, and the Truecial Privacy Policy. Where required by applicable law, information concerning confirmed CSAM or other relevant violations is reported to competent authorities or authorized reporting organizations, including NCMEC or appropriate national or regional authorities, where applicable. 11. False or Abusive Reports Users must submit reports in good faith. Knowingly submitting false reports for harassment, retaliation, intimidation, or misuse of moderation systems may violate the Terms of Use or Community Guidelines. A report submitted in good faith does not violate these Standards merely because the suspected violation is later found to be unsubstantiated. 12. Cooperation With Authorities Truecial may cooperate with courts, law-enforcement agencies, child-protection authorities, and other competent bodies where an appropriate legal basis exists. User information may be disclosed only to the extent permitted or required by applicable law. These Standards do not grant third parties unrestricted access to users' personal information. 13. Child Safety Point of Contact Truecial maintains a dedicated address for reports concerning possible child sexual abuse, exploitation, or other serious risks to minors: safety@truecial.app This address may also receive relevant communications from Google Play, other app distribution platforms, competent authorities, and child-safety organizations. 14. User Responsibility and Enforcement Users are responsible for the content they publish, the messages they send, and their conduct on the Service to the extent provided by applicable law. Users must not use Truecial for unlawful activity, harm to minors, or circumvention of technical safety restrictions. When these Standards are violated, Truecial may apply appropriate measures, including content removal, feature restrictions, temporary account suspension, or termination of access. Serious violations involving child sexual abuse or exploitation may result in enforcement without prior warning. Nothing in these Standards limits any obligation imposed on Truecial by applicable law. 15. Limitations of Technical Measures and Moderation Truecial provides social interaction tools and implements measures intended to reduce child-safety risks. However, the Service contains content and communications created by its users. Truecial does not guarantee that every violation can be detected before it occurs or that all prohibited content will be identified immediately. These Standards do not establish an undertaking to review every publication in advance, inspect every private conversation, or continuously monitor every user's activity. Available technical measures, user-reporting mechanisms, moderation tools, and other lawful methods may be used to identify and address violations. Truecial takes appropriate action upon receiving sufficient information about a violation, taking into account the circumstances and applicable requirements. These limitations do not exclude liability or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded. Users are encouraged to report suspected violations through the available safety channels. 16. Changes to These Standards Truecial may update these Standards to: Improve user safety; Reflect changes to Service functionality; Improve response procedures; Address emerging risks; Comply with applicable law; Meet mandatory app distribution platform requirements. The last-updated date appears at the beginning of this document. Where appropriate, material changes may be communicated through the Service, website, or another reasonable method. 17.
